No Credibility
Mr. Robert Rutkowski states that the radical anti-war activists are misguided, have no credibility, and need to support our troops in this war. While visiting a protest he observed many “amusing” sights: “One woman, wearing a shirt which read: FIGHT AMERICAN IMPERIALISM, suggested that our military is simply attacking a weak nation — a non-threatening nation– for financial (oil) gain.” (Rutkowski -par. 3) Rutkowski thinks we should support our troops while they are in battle instead of calling them murderers on such a false ignorant pretense. “..the time is at hand for people, the world over, to discard their petty complaints and show their support for all the brave soldiers…fighting for the freedom of nation and the eradication of a tyrant.” (Rutkowski - par. 5). A statement to be given much though. He later goes on to talk about how at the rally there was a sign “PEACE NOT WAR!!” And shares his thoughts on that and concludes with: “Of course peace not war! Nobody wants war, nobody looks forward to war, but certainly nobody looked forward to September 11th either..” (Rutkowski - par. 2)
While reading this article I noticed one humorous detail, I was reading what my dad always tells me. He is always talking about how we need to stop complaining and support our troops because WE have freedom, WE have options, and its that freedom that allows us to even argue against this war! I love how Rutkowski stated it, “We have the freedom to be critical, and if our nation is so unlivable..buy a one way ticket to Iraq and stay there.” (Rutkowski - par. 6) I agree with his statements, and I share in his amusement of the ignorant, non credible, antiwar radicals! For who attacked who? Robert Rutkowski is the Executive Editor of Americandaily.com and is highly credited with years of experience. His website has won many awards and gives BOTH sides of the story. Rutkowski showed his brilliance when he used pathos to have us recall Sept. 11th, and he also used logos throughout the ENTIRE article by just being himself.
